ALLOWING YOU TO FOCUS ON YOUR CORE BUSINESS

Outsourcing non-core business activities has grabbed the attention of leading companies in South Africa.

When used as a strategic business solution, outsourcing can enhance a company’s performance significantly, on both the financial and service fronts.

Outsourcing is an attractive financial option for companies facing increasingly challenging economic conditions.

With Peter Dixon & Associates labour law and Human Resources turn-key outsourcing solutions, client companies have experienced a significant drop in Human Resources cost-of-ownership yet remain at the leading edge of technological change.

Probably the most significant benefit that our outsourcing services deliver is the freedom for companies to focus their key resources on their core business.

In addition to cost-of-ownership benefits, partnering with Peter Dixon & Associates allows companies to address the skills shortage and radical changes in Human Resources and Industrial Relations professions, while maintaining high levels of reliability, customer service and performance.

Each project or client specification is extensively customized to suit the environment in which the business is conducted. All interventions are ‘client specific’ and highly customized.

About Peter Dixon

Peter Dixon is the CEO of the Peter Dixon Consulting Group with over 25 years’ experience in strategic Industrial Relations.

After nearly a decade with one of South Africa’s largest COSATU affiliate Unions, specializing in conflict resolution and labour law, Peter consulted in various Senior Management and Executive positions with large corporate companies, applying organizational and labour relations change strategies with a phenomenal success ratio.

Over the past 25 years, Peter has provided outsourced HR and Labour Relations functions to an impressive list of clients including SAB, National Sorghum Breweries, Argent Industrial Group, General Electric and was appointed as the Interim Human Resources Executive for Mossgas to simplify the merger between Soekor and PetroSa.

His practical and non-theoretical approach to labour relations, combined with hands on experience has allowed corporate clients to remain at the leading edge of change.

The consultancy currently retains over 20 corporate clients and attends to an average of 15 CCMA arbitrations per month. The consultancy interfaces with numerous wage negotiations, disciplinary enquiries, and strategic labour law policy directives for businesses, allowing corporate clients to concentrate on their core business operations.

The now trending management of strikes, wildcat protests and union dialogue contribute to a large portion of the consultancy’s client interface.

Peter also conducts relevant and practical training courses in labour relations and dispute resolution initiatives, he was the President of the Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Industry and for the past 15 years has been serving as an active member of the SA Police Reservists.

The consultancy maintains a healthy respect amongst the CCMA Commissioners in SA and are members of a large Employers Organisation as well as members of the SA Security Association.

Labour Law: “The logical study of the illogical, the understanding of the misunderstood and the frustrating complexities of the relatively simple”
